Goals & Objectives
The first step in planning a store is to have a clear vision of what you want to accomplish with it. Whether that is better managing your brand standards on branding and merchandising products or to consolidate everything so it’s easier to manage and take advantage of quantity buying discounts. Or if you’re using it as a rewards program or as a limited time “pop-up” store to support an event or seasonal campaign. You need set goals and objectives so you can accurately evaluate it’s performance and impact.
Access
Most companies don’t really want the general public to see their company store. Therefore AdMotions will typically add “nofollow" code keep the Google site spiders from indexing it to display in google searches.
However, the more information thing to consider is who will be ordering and what they need to see. For example employees that just want to buy a company branded jacket don’t need to see all the items that require a minimum volume purchase that managers need. Some companies may elect to do multiple stores to serve different needs. AdMotions can also provide stores with user access permissions, so managers can have a different login that lets them see more than average employees can.
Product Selection
With your input, AdMotions will research product options for inclusion and present them to you so you can decide exactly what you want in your store. Remember, these stores are fully custom so you need to have a good idea of what products you want to help us research and source the products in an efficient and timely manner.
Fulfillment
There are a lot of ways to handle order fulfillment. Some stores can be designed so no inventory is stocked and products are produced as ordered. However, that can severely limit the products that are included in the program.
If you allow employees to order individual items, you may need to stock a limited amount of inventory. Typically embroidered products can be produced as single piece orders, but screen printing and promotional products require various minimum quantities for cost efficient production.
